The Parassini Muthappan temple is a prime pilgrimage center in north Kerala. Situated in the district of Kannur,nested 20 km away from Kannur town is a quiet retreat. To have the "darshan" of the powerful deity incarnate here, devotees throng from different regions of India and world. Such is the fame and magnetism this place has been attached to. As a matter of fact pilgrims were not able to get good accommodation and quality food in the 
precincts of Parassinikkadavu Temple and this fact remained overlooked for aconsiderable period of time. To overcome this and envisioned by Sri Ananthan Madayan, a very imaginative project was formulated with the help of co- promoters with an objective to provide quality accommodation facilities coupled with good food to the visitors to the temple and the dream of extending hospitality services to the devotees were materialized by building Thai Resorts.
